Course Karma Cashback Program

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Course Karma Cashback Program (“Program”) offered by Course Karma. By joining or using the Program, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Eligible Courses

  • Cashback is available only on courses explicitly listed as Cashback Partner courses.

  • Not all courses on Course Karma qualify.

  • Partner eligibility may change at any time based on agreements with providers.

1.2 New Registrations Only

Cashback applies only to new registrations made after joining the Program. The following are not eligible:

  • Registrations made before Program enrollment

  • Previously purchased courses

  • Deposits or partial payments made before Program activation

  • Registrations completed without the approved Course Karma pathway

  • Registrations transferred from a non eligible course, date or format

2. Tracking and Attribution Requirements

2.1 Valid Registration Path

To qualify for cashback, users must contact Course Karma before registering for a course.

Course Karma will confirm eligibility and provide an approved registration link or code.

Only registrations completed using the approved link or code qualify for cashback.

Registrations completed without prior contact or without the approved method are not eligible.

2.2 Provider Confirmation

Cashback is issued only after the course provider confirms that the registration was attributed to Course Karma.

If attribution is not confirmed for any reason, cashback cannot be paid.

2.3 No Manual Attribution or Private Arrangements

The following actions void cashback eligibility:

  • Asking a provider to manually tag or attribute a registration to Course Karma after purchase

  • Negotiating private discounts, alternate pricing or payment paths that bypass Course Karma

  • Registering directly with a provider and requesting retroactive credit

Only tracked and verified registrations are eligible.

2.4 Tracking Failures

If tracking fails or the provider cannot confirm the registration for any reason, cashback cannot be issued.

3. Cashback Rates and Calculations

3.1 Standard Rates

  • Online courses: up to 7 percent cashback

  • In person courses: up to 3 percent cashback

Actual rates vary by provider and are determined by Course Karma based on partner agreements.

3.2 Calculation Basis

Cashback is calculated on pre tax tuition actually paid by the user.

Taxes, fees, materials, travel, add ons and non tuition charges are excluded.

3.3 Exclusions

The following may be excluded from cashback eligibility at Course Karma's discretion:

  • Bundles, multi course packages or subscriptions

  • Scholarship pricing or tuition credit programs

  • Third party discount or funding arrangements

  • Courses designated by providers as non eligible

Course Karma determines eligibility based on provider agreements.

4. Discounts and Stacking Policy

Cashback can be earned on discounted tuition set by the educator, subject to provider and Course Karma approval.

Cashback cannot be combined with:

  • Course Karma promotional credits

  • Other Course Karma cashback offers

  • Coupon codes or incentives issued directly by Course Karma that are marked as non stackable

  • Retroactive claims on past purchases

If there is a conflict between promotions, Course Karma will determine which, if any, apply.

5. Verification, Attendance, Refunds and Changes

5.1 Online Courses

Cashback is released only after the refund period has fully closed and eligibility is confirmed by the provider.

5.2 In Person Courses

Cashback is released only after the provider verifies attendance.

5.3 Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers

Cashback is void if the user:

  • Cancels

  • Receives a full or partial refund

  • Does not attend

  • Transfers to a non eligible course, date or format

  • Fails provider verification

5.4 Course Changes

Changes to tuition, course tier, dates, location, format or payment method may affect cashback eligibility and may void or adjust cashback.

5.5 Cashback Reversal and Clawback

If cashback has already been issued and the underlying registration is later cancelled, refunded, disputed, unverified or deemed ineligible, Course Karma may:

  • Reverse the cashback from the user’s balance

  • Deduct the amount from future payouts

  • Request repayment from the user

Cashback is valid only while the underlying registration remains eligible.

6. Payouts

6.1 Minimum Payout Threshold

Payouts are issued when the user’s cashback balance reaches 100 dollars USD.

6.2 Payout Methods

Payouts may be issued via:

  • PayPal

  • Wise

  • Course Karma credit (optional by agreement)

6.3 User Responsibility

Users must provide accurate payout information. Course Karma is not responsible for failed or delayed payouts caused by incorrect or incomplete details provided by the user.

6.4 Taxes

Participants are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations related to cashback earnings.

7. Misuse, Fraud and Program Participation

7.1 Misuse and Fraud

Course Karma may revoke cashback, withhold payouts, reverse balances or remove users from the Program if any of the following occur:

  • Attempting to claim cashback on ineligible or improperly tracked registrations

  • Submitting false, altered or misleading receipts or documents

  • Creating multiple accounts

  • Abusing discounts, referral pathways or promotions

  • Disputing charges with the educator or payment provider while claiming cashback

  • Any fraudulent, abusive or deceptive activity

Serious misuse may result in permanent removal from Course Karma programs.

7.2 Program Participation

Course Karma may suspend or terminate a user’s participation in the Program at any time, with or without notice, including the forfeiture of unapproved cashback balances, if it believes the user is acting inconsistently with these Terms or the intent of the Program.

8. Program Changes, Accuracy and Limitations

8.1 Program Adjustments

Course Karma may update cashback rates, eligibility criteria, payout thresholds or these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted in the member portal or Program information page.

8.2 Program Suspension or Termination

Course Karma may modify, suspend or terminate the Program at any time.

Unapproved or pending cashback that has not yet reached the payout threshold may be cancelled if the Program is discontinued.

8.3 Accuracy Notice

Course listings, provider data and cashback rates may contain errors or outdated information.

Final eligibility is determined through Course Karma’s verification process and provider confirmation.

8.4 Limitation of Liability

Course Karma is not liable for:

  • Provider decisions regarding attribution, eligibility or course delivery

  • Tracking failures or attribution issues

  • Denied cashback, pricing changes or course cancellations

  • Any losses arising from participation in the Program

Course Karma’s total liability in connection with the Program is limited to the amount of cashback actually approved and payable to the user under these Terms.

9.1 Communications

By joining the Program, users consent to receive communications regarding cashback, verification, payouts and Program updates.

Users may still receive essential Program related communications even if they opt out of marketing emails.
