Meet your Mentor
Dr. Abbas Hassanali
I'm a certified specialist in Periodontology and Implant Surgery, providing the full scope of surgical periodontal and implant therapy with a strong focus on esthetic and reconstructive procedures.
I completed my Cell and Molecular Biology undergraduate training, Doctor of Dental Surgery, and my MSc and specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Toronto. My research in protein biochemistry, cell biology, and matrix dynamics has been published and presented at several international meetings.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Ontario Society of Periodontists.
I also maintain a close relationship with the University of Toronto as an Associate in Dentistry, where I help train residents in the Implant Prosthodontics Unit, supporting the next generation of clinicians in surgical implant therapy.
